do they have him in therapy? im in therapy
with someone i know...who had a stroke 2 months
ago...he lost control of his left side...and
they have been working with him on his hand..
and today...while i was there....i got to see
him take his first steps on his own! it was
only 3 steps....but to see the accomplishment
on his face was great!
That's wonderful news Twi. I'm so happy to hear he is doing so well.
Gawd i need to spend more time readin on peoples boards*hugs mi madre* you and your family will be in my prayers for your father in laws continued progress....strokes are tough on a person*hugs* luv ya madre

Mrs.Gator he is in rehab doing therepy and it has helped him a whole lot! his speech is clearer and he can walk with the help of a walker but for some reason his right arm and hand is being stubborn it want work..but hopefully when home health comes in and works with him they will get it working again being that he is right handed and its hard on him when he uses his left hand for everything.other than that he is progressing well ..thanks everyone for prayers

it takes time...i have been in therapy for
1 1/2 months now...and just now starting to
use my right arm a little bit...i can move
my fingers and my arm pretty good now...but
i still cant do anything that requires any
strength...they are tellin me i may be off
work for at least another 4 weeks...because
they dont have anything that i can do lite
duty...it is frustrating cause im right handed
and having to do everything left handed has
been a challenge...

doing things left handed for him is a challenge also ,hopeing that his arm and hand straightens out soon so he can get back to normal *S*
